Candlelight Concerts return to The Playhouse Company, bringing the magic of live music to Durban through breathtaking multi-sensory performances under the warm glow of candlelight. Performed by a live string quartet in an intimate setting, these spectacular concerts transform some of the world’s most beloved music into unforgettable classical experiences.

On 23 May 2026, audiences can immerse themselves in the timeless music of Adele and Coldplay, with beautifully reimagined renditions of chart-topping favourites including Hello, Rolling in the Deep, Fix You, Yellow and A Sky Full of Stars.

The experience continues on 26 June 2026 with Coldplay vs. Imagine Dragons, a dynamic candlelit concert featuring iconic hits such as Clocks, Radioactive, Believer, Paradise, The Scientist and Viva la Vida.

Each performance runs for approximately 60 minutes and promises an enchanting evening of music, atmosphere and emotion in one of Durban’s most iconic venues. Suitable for audiences aged 8 years and older, Candlelight Concerts offer a unique live music experience that blends contemporary favourites with the elegance of classical performance.
