A hit stage musical, is set during the time when British forces occupied the village of eNkandla. Focusing on a story of love struggling to survive tribal wars. It explores the devastated effect it had on the rural communities, leaving behind scores of widows and orphans. The word “Maluju” means “it is enough – let us put our arms down”. It is a call for peace, usually said in cases of when an opponent is raising a white flag, indicating that they are no longer interested in fighting.
