NAACH – my diary of dance is a celebration of dance from a South African Indian perspective. The 30 odd member cast is made up of students from Crawford, Northwood, Verulam Secondary, Seatides Combined DHS and UKZN amongst others.

The show is the only proudly South African Bollywood dance production of its kind and communicates the values, aspirations and challengers of a dancer through spoken word diary entries. It aims to distinguish genres of dance i.e. Folk, classical, contemporary within a Bollywood framework.

Seeking inspiration from the siddhi tribe (African tribe in India), Shakespeare 400th death anniversary and the political theatrics of our country; the show stands to be and entertaining evening with nuances  of comedy, politics and drama sing along to your favourite old school tune (Pyaar hua, juta hai Japani, yeh dosti, Samne wale kirki), dance to your favourite song jag Ghoomeya, deewani mastani, baby ko bass pasand hai) or simply watch a sensational dance production enjoyable for the whole family.
