UPCOMING SHOW AT THE PLAYHOUSE
The Playhouse Company is looking to appoint a Fundraising Consultant to be appointed on a fixed term contract to assist the institution in raising funds.
The suitable incumbent will be responsible for the undermentioned Key Performance Areas.
· Develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the Entity’s mandate, programmes, and strategic objectives.
· Identify and engage with potential donors, partners, and funding institutions
· Prepare and submit funding proposals and partnership documents in accordance with compliance requirements.
· Prepare and submit the reports
All applicants must be able to demonstrate
· that they are in possession of a suitable Tertiary qualification in either Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Finance or Project Management. (A postgraduate qualification in Fundraising will be an advantage).
· A minimum of 5 years’ experience in fund raising with a proven track record in fund raising within a Governmental or Public Entity
· Competencies in Stakeholder Management; presentation and negotiation skills; Good knowledge of Compliance and Public finance regulations; Excellent writing and communication skills.
· Knowledge of the applicable legislation and governance frameworks applicable to fundraising within Public entities

The Entity will offer the suitable incumbent a retainer fee with further income linked to performance outcomes.
