Theatre Etiquette

The Playhouse Company aims to deliver an unforgettable theatrical journey for everyone, however, it's essential that audience members contribute by adhering to the globally recognized standards of theatre etiquette.

Please ensure you arrive punctually

Being in your seat before the performance starts ensures a smooth beginning and minimizes disruptions for both fellow audience members and the performers.

Kindly silence your electronic devices

To fully enjoy the performance without distractions, we request that you switch off or silence all electronic devices.

Let's maintain a quiet atmosphere

During the performance, refraining from talking, including whispers, allows everyone to immerse themselves fully in the experience.

Photography and recording are not permitted

To respect the performers and fellow audience members, we kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos, videos, or audio recordings during the performance.

Please remain seated during the performance

Unless it's during an intermission or designated break, remaining seated ensures an uninterrupted view for all attendees.

Consider using the restroom before the performance

To minimize disruptions for yourself and others, it's a good idea to visit the restroom before the show begins.

Mind your personal belongings

To prevent obstruction and ensure safety, please keep your bags, coats, and belongings clear of aisles and neighboring seats.

Please refrain from disruptive behavior

To maintain a respectful environment, avoid heckling, booing, or shouting comments at the performers. Your positive energy is appreciated!

Let's show appreciation appropriately

Applauding at the end of each act or scene is a wonderful way to show appreciation for the performers' hard work and talent.

Let's be considerate of others

Being mindful of fellow audience members ensures that everyone can fully enjoy the performance.

Thank you for your cooperation in creating a pleasant theater experience for all.
