The KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra concludes its 2026 Spring Symphony Season with a spectacular evening celebrating the brilliance, elegance and wit of the Classical era. Under the baton of acclaimed conductor Leon Bosch, the orchestra welcomes internationally acclaimed pianists Xin Wang and Florian Koltun for a programme of timeless masterpieces.

The concert opens with Gioachino Rossini’s The Barber of Seville Overture, an exuberant and instantly recognisable work bursting with charm, humour and infectious energy. The spotlight then turns to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Concerto for Two Pianos, K. 365 in E-flat Major, featuring the exceptional artistry of Xin Wang and Florian Koltun in a dazzling display of virtuosity, elegance and musical dialogue. The evening concludes with Mozart’s Symphony No. 39, K. 543 in E-flat Major, one of the composer’s greatest symphonic achievements, admired for its lyrical beauty, dramatic depth and radiant orchestral colour.
