Curated by Bukelwa Cakata, the Africana Women Synergy Music Festival is an annual celebration of African women in music, bringing together female artists of African descent for a powerful showcase of talent, collaboration and cultural expression.

Presented by African Sinakho Arts, the Disability Music Festival creates an inclusive platform for both disabled and able-bodied women from across the districts of KwaZulu-Natal to share the stage, celebrate their artistry and amplify their voices. Through music and performance, the festival champions accessibility and inclusion while recognising the remarkable contribution women make to the creative and cultural landscape.

With a long-term vision of expanding its reach to artists from across South Africa and the African continent, the festival seeks to build meaningful connections between women through creativity, shared experiences and the universal language of music.
