After more than six decades of carrying the sound and the spirit of South African music across generations and borders, the Mahotella Queens continue their celebration of the country’s living musical heritage.The legendary mbaqanga group will take their tour to Durban Playhouse on 24th October 2026, bringing their timeless sound to KwaZulu- Natal in a performance that celebrates where South African music has come from, where it is today and where it is going.The group will feature a special guest appearance by one of KwaZulu Natal’s finest Maskandi artists, Limit Nala, creating a meeting point between two important generations of South African traditional music.
